Our Pink Piezo Cleaning Solution is the strongest Epson specific piezo cleaning solution in the U.S. market. Specifically formulated for applications where typical cleaning solutions are not strong enough to break through and dissolve dried ink, and do not have the vividness and contrast to visually locate clogs within the ink system and on a nozzle check printout.
Its 2-perolidone formulation has a bright pink color and vividness that makes visually locating clogs within the ink system and on a nozzle check printout a whole lot easier than typical clear/blue solutions, and has an unrivaled strength that makes breaking through clogs and dried ink a breeze.
This solution is used by professional Epson technicians to clean the ink system and printhead when a nozzle check shows missing or incomplete lines; which correlate to the clogged printhead nozzles.
This high quality 220ml. cartridge features resettable chips, which allow for our Replacement Ink Bags to be used in any cartridge in your Epson 4880. Once empty, the bag can be removed and replaced with a new one; and the chip can be reset [Chip resetter purchased separately]. This allows for ultimate versatility and cost reduction, as we offer replacement bags with every cleaning solution and ink we sell.
Caution: This Pink Piezo Cleaning Solution should not be left in the ink system or printhead for extended periods of time as this can result in damage. Once the cleaning procedure is complete [< 24-36 hrs.] this solution should be flushed from the system. For flushing this solution, we recommend using our Clear Cleaning/Flushing Solution, as it is less expensive than using ink and is safe to leave in the ink system for extended periods of time.
